Georgia Democrats work to elect candidates who fight for:

  • Women’s rights to bodily autonomy (more than just abortion; the freedom to make choices about a woman’s body with her physician, not her government)
  • Critical thought in schools that lets students hold ideas about anything they wish to research under the guidance of school staff and administrators who are free to encourage their analysis for optimal outcomes—even if that means the student learns the idea is not one they choose for themselves
  • Recognition of diversity, and work towards just inclusion and equity for all
  • Employees deserve the respect of a livable wage and support of their personal lives
  • Public schools because they are an excellent resource that openly works with community and families to foster growth for student success
  • Corporations should contribute at least as much as citizens
  • Protection of the sacred right to vote
  • Affordable housing
  • Science
  • Continued access to proactive, couple-led family planning
  • Marriage equality
