High school students in Forsyth County, we know you are tired of the old ideas that permeate our county. There is so much you can do to help make the changes you want to see happen–the first and best way is to make sure you are registered to vote.

The people who hold power in FoCo vote. Candidates and representatives listen to them because they vote.

We know you care about:

  • Sexuality and gender (LGBTQIA+)
  • Being safe in school
  • Inclusion
  • Intellectual freedom (being able to read what you want and learn history, science, and health accurately)
  • Fair wages
  • Affordable education
  • Student debt
  • Affordable housing

We care too. We want you to talk to your friends about these issues. We need you to get them to vote so that the people who are elected to represent you will represent you.

Get involved with us! Meet Democratic candidates. Invite us to your clubs! (SGA, Y Club, Young Democrats, Students for DEI–we’re talking to you.) Volunteer to write postcards, send emails, make phone calls, or send texts! Make memes. Post on TikTok. Visit your neighbors. Show people that Forsyth County is changing!
